Dear Prospective IL GOP Candidates,
Thank you for putting yourself out there and stepping up, in an attempt to make Illinois (AND CHICAGO) a better place to live, work and raise a family.
You are invited to participate this week - on Thursday, October 23 - on the same Northside street roughly 1 mile north of the famous St. Valentine's Day massacre, when the city was about as lawless as it is now. Oh, and the Cubs play across the street too 😏 
We'll likely have your petition already (bring it anyway) and - due the fundraising nature of the event - we're asking you to consider a small donation ($20) to help cover our costs (you'll get a meal ticket for an iconic BG sandwich, fries/chips and a soft drink (cash bar). We'd also ask that IF you bring any staff, that you have them (or your campaign) cover their attendance, as well.
If you attended the Niles Township GOP event last week, this is a similar format, but a MUCH more intimate setting (and the food is more filling, :-)) The parking near Wrigley is not good, but it won't be anywhere near as challenging as when there is a game OR on a weekend.
While I've communicated to many of you via text - and some have already declined or RSVP'd, we'll take an RSVP as a response that you will be able to attend.

Fundraiser for the 2026 Northside Republican GOTV efforts

 

Northside Republicans offered President Trump more than 25% or 51,922 of his 203,817 votes in Chicago in 2024. Can we build on that momentum in coming months & start to change the flavor of the Northside?

 

We'll be sharing some information important to Republicans on the Northside...

We're going to share some important information to address the national AND local political scene, while also addressing some policy issues that affect the Northside.

ALSO - since it's about politics AND policy - we'll have each of the candidates in attendance speak to who they are and what office they are seeking and also - as a group - answer questions you might have about policy, once they've completed their introductions.

We'll also have about 16 petitions for candidates running for state and countywide offices.

 

Which candidates have been invited...

We have invited prospective Republican candidates for all offices (statewide, Congress, countywide & local) that run through Chicago's Northside and will post their participation as their invitation responses return this week. We can report that IL Governor candidate Ted Dabrowski and his Lt. Governor running-mate, Dr. Carrie Mendoza, have confirmed their attendance.

MORE INFO: Prospective statewide, 5th & 9th Congressional & multiple local IL House, IL Senate & Cook Countywide candidates who are Republicans have been invited.

FYI: The entry fee for non-members & non-donors is $25. The price at the door will be $30. 

"Doors open" at 6:15pm with a meal ticket for the World Famous Billy Goat sandwiches, fries and a soft-drink, as well as some appetizers (cash bar). Candidates will be mingling with those in attendance, where you'll be able to have one-on-one conversations.

 

What is this fundraiser for...

Texting, US Mail, phone calls, door-to-door canvassing, website support and promoting Republican candidates costs money and should not only burden individual candidates.

Every dollar raised by the Northside Republicans from this event will be used to maintain and support our activity on behalf of all Republican candidates in districts that run through the Northside before the Republican primary election on March 17, 2026 (Illinois Primary) and then again in the Fall of 2026.
