Welcome to the Northside Jeanne Ives!

America is about to celebrate 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was proclaimed. We welcome former state legislator, past candidate for Governor of IL and former Congressional candidate Jeanne Ives to speak with us on Monday, June 22 in Wrigleyville at the Billy Goat Tavern. Doors Open at 6:30pm and the program will begin at approximately 7:15pm. We'll have the Billy Goat serve heavy apps and there will be a cash bar.
Jeanne Ives jumped into the Illinois political commentary role a few years after the rise of J.B. Pritzker by hosting her own radio show "The Real Story" weekdays on AM-560 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. She also hosts her own website and social media platforms known as Breakthrough Ideas, confronting issues that run the gamut in Illinois. Jeanne is also a graduate of West Point and has multiple children serving or have served in the U.S. military.
We've asked Jeanne to choose the political topics for the evening, although we're sure she'll share something personal about America and our 250th. The subjects she could choose from regarding Illinois are truly endless: Our state is a wreck and Governor J.B. Pritzker IS the wrecking ball. There are also aspects of the U.S. that also need attention, as we head into the next 250 years. She might also have time to offer some commentary on the IL GOP, its short-comings, and where it might be headed with Bob Grogan as the new chair. Once she concludes her presentation, we'll offer some time for a Q&A session.
Purchase your tickets online, rather than pay more at the door! All proceeds go to Chicago's Northside Republican Club and directed to their fall GOTV (Get Out The Vote) program.

This event paid for by the Northside Republican Club. A copy of our report is filed with the State Board of Elections and is (will be) available on the board's official website (www.elections.il.gov) or for purchase from the state Board of Elections in Springfield, IL.
