'Protect American communities from unchecked entry'

Brian Kasal, President of Northside Republicans, has expressed support for the Supreme Court's ruling in Noem v. Doe, which he believes ends unlawful parole programs and aligns with former President Donald Trump's efforts to restore law, order, and border security. Kasal shared his views with Chicago City Wire.

"With its decision in Noem v. Doe, the Supreme Court has reinforced that immigration must be handled within legal frameworks," said Kasal. "Biden's parole initiative sidestepped Congress and threatened national security. The Court's action prevents further erosion of lawful immigration policy. President Trump is now empowered to correct the course and protect American communities from unchecked entry."

In an order released on May 30, 2025, the Supreme Court said that the April 15, 2025 order from the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts is stayed pending further legal proceedings. The stay will remain until a decision is made by the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit or if a petition for a writ of certiorari is filed and denied.
